Configure Database After Install
These instructions apply ONLY if the database creation script was not run due to the external configuration of SQL Server or for another reason when the Core Server was installed. If this is the case, use SQL Server Management Studio to configure the database to link the Core Server and SQL database.
If you require an encyrpted database, please speak to your RICOH technical consultant prior to configuring the database.
Also, configure the Core database and Print Resilience database separately when installing SLNX using silent installation.
- To configure the Core database, run "CreateSLNX_DB.sql" in the "DB" folder in the installer storage destination path.
- To configure the Print Resilience database, run "CreatePrintRes_DB.sql" in the "DB" folder in the installer storage destination path.
When SQL Server Management Studio is operated from a server other than the Core Server, copy "CreateSLNX_DB.sql" from the Core Server to any location in advance.
